Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Silverpadas ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information in connection with our retirement documentation education programmes and this website. It applies to individuals who enquire about or attend our programmes, and to visitors to our website at silverpadas.world.
This policy is issued under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. By providing your personal data to us, you consent to its processing in the manner described below.
1. Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data where you provide it voluntarily:
- Full name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Organisation name (for organisational enquiries)
- Enquiry details submitted through our contact form
We also collect non-personal technical data when you visit our website, including browser type, pages visited and session duration, through standard web analytics tools.
What we do not collect: We do not collect pension account numbers, EPF membership numbers, SOCSO identifiers, employment records or any financial account information. Any pension or employment details discussed during facilitated sessions are not recorded or retained by Silverpadas.
2. Legal Basis for Processing
- Consent: Where you submit an enquiry form or register for a programme, you provide consent for us to process your contact information to respond to your enquiry or administer your participation.
- Legitimate interests: We may retain records of completed programme engagements (name, dates, programme attended) for internal quality review and programme planning purposes.
- Legal obligation: Where required by Malaysian law, we may process or disclose data to comply with regulatory or legal requirements.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To respond to your enquiry and provide programme information
- To administer your attendance at a Silverpadas programme
- To send programme-related communications (session confirmations, logistics)
- To review programme feedback for internal quality purposes
- To maintain records required for organisational administration
We do not use your personal data for unsolicited marketing. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Data Retention
Enquiry data not resulting in programme participation is retained for up to 12 months and then securely deleted. Programme participation records (name, dates, programme attended) are retained for up to 3 years for quality review purposes, and then deleted. Financial administration records (invoices and payment confirmations) are retained for 7 years in accordance with Malaysian accounting requirements.
5. Third-Party Services
Our website may use the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics — website usage analysis (anonymised)
- Google Maps — embedded map to display our office location
- Font and icon delivery services (Google Fonts, Cloudflare CDN)
We do not pass identifiable personal data to these services beyond what is standard in the operation of the website (such as IP addresses processed by analytics services).

7. Data Protection Measures
- Access to personal data is restricted to Silverpadas staff and facilitators who require it for programme delivery
- Data transmitted via our contact form is protected in transit using TLS encryption
- Internal records are stored on password-protected systems with access controls
- In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in risk to data subjects, we will notify affected individuals and, where required, the relevant Malaysian authority, within 72 hours of becoming aware
8. Your Rights Under the PDPA
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the following rights in relation to personal data we hold about you:
- Right of access: to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right of correction: to request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Right to withdraw consent: to withdraw consent to processing at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions
- Right to limit processing: to request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances

9. External Links
Our website may contain links to external sites, including government bodies such as EPF and SOCSO. Silverpadas is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies directly.
10. Children's Privacy
Our programmes and website are directed at adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify active programme participants by email. The updated policy will always be available at this page, with the effective date noted at the top. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
